Makanbhai Parmar was born in Karanj, a village in Mandvi Taluka. His kindness and simplicity were evident in everything he did. Throughout his life, he strictly adhered to the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi. His clothing consisted of a dhoti, a kurta, and a white cap. He was always ready to help the needy. He was humble and courteous. To him, education is the only foundation for development, so that village life and development can progress in the right direction.
